Write essays

When students are required to write essays for a course or class, they need essay topics that will act as guides that structure the reports and determine what the student will write about. essay topics fall under categories of very specific or general topics, and this entirely depends on the student, the teacher and the course. When teachers assign essay topics in class, students are required to write either similar essays, or on different subtopics that are linked to the main essay topics.
The problem is that students often do not value the importance of having good essay topics. They consider essay topics to be mere words on the top page, which is hardly the case! Good essay topics ensure that essays flow smoothly and easily. On the other hand, bad topics bury the student’s inspiration and creative ideas. As obscure as they might seem, essay topics say plenty about contents of the essays.
A good topic should be concise and clear, and not covers more than a phrase or sentence where necessary. Topics should also attract readers to the essays at hand, and should be related to theses of the essays. In cases where students have difficulty choosing their own assignment topics; they can access various sources in order to give more ‘juice’ to the topics.
These sources include the internet, and also other college essays written on particular subjects. Finally, when the topics have been selected, the student needs to determine whether they will be writing overview, or specific analysis essays. They should determine how difficult the topics being researched will be, and whether they are too narrow, too broad, or creative enough.
